Anna earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology from the University of the Philippines, Manila in 2011. She gained her experienced in working with children in various settings such as private pediatric centers, government hospitals, non-profit organizations and community-based visits.
Anna has received trainings and workshops in the Philippines and in Singapore on speech sound disorders, overview on the fundamentals of AAC (Augmentative Alternative Communication), roles of speech pathologists in the transition of students with special needs, PROMPT approach and narrative assessment with cultural applications. She has been a consultant speech pathologist in various private pediatric centers in the Philippines for several years before coming to Singapore.
She has proficient experiences in handling children with communication issues and she is passionate about continuously building her knowledge in helping children with special needs. She actively works together with other professionals (OTs, STs, Psychologists, Special Education Teachers, Teachers) in the field in order to provide a wholistic approach in teaching children with special needs.
She is fluent in English and Filipino languages.
