Therapeutic Play Coordinator
Hagit graduated from Tel-Aviv University, Israel (2007) with a Master Degree in Cognitive Psychology and a Bachelor of Art in Behavioral Sciences (2003). She expanded her knowledge and skill-set in expressive therapy through the Therapeutic Play Skills training at College of Allied Educators (joint collaboration with Play Therapy International) in 2015. She is working to further enhance her professional skills to work creatively with children as a play therapist by enrolling in the Postgraduate Diploma in Play Therapy course and is expected to complete in 2017.
Since the completion of her training in Therapeutic Play Skills, Hagit has been working with children at HeadStart for Life as well as in a local primary school. She helps children with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties and specializes in working with special needs children.
Prior to that, Hagit had worked as a Human Resource manager in high-tech companies for 8 years and her main focus was on employee soft skills, recruiting, mentoring and solving conflicts by using her counseling skills. During this period, she also volunteered as a coach and social facilitator in a mental health organization.
Hagit enjoys facilitating and assisting children to express themselves and empowering them to fulfill their potential through therapeutic play.
Hagit is fluent in English and Hebrew.
