Jesline Teo

Special Education Teacher

Jesline graduated from James Cook University with a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours). She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Management (Double Major). She is well-trained in arts and design, and worked as a graphic designer for 7 years prior to her studies in Psychology. After her degrees, she has been teaching art to children, both typical and atypical. She aims to blend her knowledge in psychology and art when delivering art programs. Her expertise in art-teaching include correcting pencil grips, building fine-motor skills with pencils, as well as using specific techniques for drawing and painting.

Jesline has worked in various settings including school-based classrooms, small four-to-five group sessions, and one-to-one individual sessions. She is passionate in delivering fun and engaging art sessions to children. She believes that every child has the potential to learn and deserves the opportunity to explore art as a medium for creative self-expression.

Jesline is fluent in English and Mandarin.
