Senior Speech Therapist
Éadaoin (Aideen) is from Co. Louth, Ireland and has been practicing speech therapy for over six years. She has more than 1.5 years of working experience in Singapore, and over 5 years of working experience working in various settings in the UK and Ireland. Éadaoin graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Speech Language and Therapy from Ulster University and she is registered with the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC Singapore).
Éadaoin has provided communication assessment and intervention to children in primary care facilities, as well as in special language units in both mainstream and special schools. Éadaoin is also highly skilled in managing adults and adolescents with swallowing and communication difficulties. Her breadth of experience across settings has provided with a strong basis in managing her clients with difficulties her eating, drinking and communicating secondary to developmental disorders, neurological conditions and a range of other medical and surgical diagnosis. Her diverse experience to date has made her an adaptable and versatile therapist.
She also has special interest in social communication and functional rehabilitation in both the pediatric and adult population and believes in empowering her clients and caregivers to work towards meaningful and self-directed goals. She has strengths in engaging family, caregivers, educators, and community in fostering a rich therapeutic environment.
